For Fish:
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
3 tbsp hot pepper sauce
3 tsp course kosher salt, divided
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Grated lettuce
2 lbs skinless halibut, sea bass, or any other kind of white fish
2 cups flour (only if cooking on stove)
Vegi oil for cooking (only if cooking on stove)
Tortillas
Fresh Avocados sliced for garnish

For Baja Cream:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp (packed) finely grated lime peel
Pinch of salt

For Fish:
Mix buttermilk, parsley, pepper sauce, 1 tsp salt and lime juice in large bowl. Add fish; toss. Cover and chill for 1 hour up to 3 hours.

If grilling, remove fish from marinade and grill until done.

If frying in pan, whisk flour and remaining 2 tsp salt in medium bowl. Add enough oil to large skillet to reach depth of 1 inch. Heat oil to 350º. Working in batches, remove fish from marinade and dredge in flour. Add fish to skillet, partially cover and fry until golden brown, turning occasionally, about 4 minutes. Transfer to paper-towel-lined baking sheet to drain then transfer to over to keep warm.

Baja Cream Sauce:

Whisk all ingredients in bowl. (Can be made 3 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate)

Also serve avocado, lime slices, shredded cabbage and steamed tortillas
