12 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 1/4 cups whole cranberry sause
1/2 pkg dry onion soup mix (stir before dividing)
1/2 cup French dressing
1 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:

Arrange chicken in 5 quart slow cooker.

Mix remaining 5 ingredients in small bowl. Spoon over chicken. Cover. Cook on Low 8 - 10 hrs or on high for 4 - 5 hours.

This may be baked, covered in ungreased 4 qt. casserole in 325F oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.
The gravy-type sause is delicious over mashed potatoes.
