2 C corn meal
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 - 1 cup of milk
2 or 3 eggs
1 c cold water
2 T cooking oil
1 - 2 level T sugar
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add milk.

Mix sugar, baking powder and salt with corn meal. Add cold water to this mixture.

Blend eggs and milk with the corn meal mixture. Add cooking oil and stir until smooth.

Bake in hot greased muffin irons at 450º
