BAKED CHOCOLATE ROLLS

Ingredients:
FILLING
cup + 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
2 sticks Butter, Softened to Room Temperature
2 cups Granulated Sugar

PASTRY
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
teaspoon Salt
6 tablespoons Shortening
cup Cold Whole Milk
Directions:
Mix together filling ingredients. Set aside. Place pastry ingredients in large bowl cutting in shortening with pastry knife. Divide pastry into small balls about the size of a walnut. Roll each ball into a thin round circle about the size of a saucer. Place two tablespoonfuls of filling into center of the rolled out crust and fold over to form a half moon pie. Crimp edges with a fork. Punch vent holes. Bake at 325 approximately 25 minutes. Cool.
