2 T. cocoa
pinch of salt
1/2 c. cream

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients in saucepan and gradually stir in the cream. Cook over medium heat until it starts to drop or sheet from the spoon. Add a dollop of butter if desired. Serve over vanilla ice cream and top with sunflower seeds or peanuts.

One of my earliest memories is of Dad feeding me hot fudge sundaes in my highchair. This recipe comes from my maternal grandmother, Edna Overby. Dad always had to be the one to make it. He did it just right.
