1 package (14 oz) package caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Unwrap caramels and melt with 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk in saucepan over low heat, stirring often. Mix together cake mix, melted butter and the other 1/3 cup evaporated milk until cake mix is completely moistened. Pour half of the batter into a lightly greased, 8x10 baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from the oven and pour caramel mixture over the top. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Dot with remaining cake mixture. Return to oven and bake for 20 minutes longer. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before cutting.
