1 cup and 2 tbsp cake flour
1/2 tsp salt
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Seperate eggs. Beat eggs until stiff but not dry. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and beat 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat yolks until light and fairly thick add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, add vanilla and very gradually add water while beating at slow speed. Fold yolk mixture gently into whites and gradually add flour mixture. Sifting 1/4 cup over surgace. Pour onto paperlined cookie sheet.
375 15-20 minutes
Excellent when after cooling add jam in middle and roll. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
