"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
CRUST:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup nuts

LAYER 1:
1/2 8-oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 large carton low fat cool whip

LAYER 2:
1 large package instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk

TOP LAYER:
1/2 carton low fat cool whip
1 large hershey bar (make curls or grate)
or sprinkle with nuts

Directions:
Directions:
CRUST: Combine ingredients and press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool. (That's handy way to make a crust, but since I'm lazy or always in a hurry, I just use half of a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough. Spray the bowl with Pam, smash out the dough so it will be even and bake until done.)

LAYER 1: Combine cream cheese, sugar and cool whip. Blend until smooth. Spread over cooled crust.

LAYER 2: Whip all ingredients together until well blended. Spread over cream cheese layer.

TOP LAYER: Spread remainder cool whip over pudding layer and top with chocolate, or nuts.

Refrigerate ... overnight is best.
