1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed, ripe bananas (about 3)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch salt

Frosting:
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
4 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into greased jelly roll pan (10 x 15 inches). Bake at 350º for 25 minutes or until done. Cool.
2. For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over bars.
