1 lb. fresh asparagus, snap off tough ends
2 T. peanut oil, divided
2 lg. shallots, minced
1 T. sesame seeds
1/8 t. freshly ground pepper
2 t. soy sauce
1/2 t. dark sesame oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook half of asparagus in 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat, 3-4 minutes each side. Stir together shallots and next 4 ingredients. Sprinkle half of shallot mixture over asparagus; cook 1-2 minutes until tender. Remove asparagus; keep warm. Repeat with remaining asparagus, peanut oil and shallot mixture.
