6 c. flour, divided
2 t. sugar
1 t. salt
2 1/2 T yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
4 T. butter
3 T. chopped parsley
2 t. chopped sage
2 t. chopped rosemary
2 t. thyme
1 T. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 2 loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine yeast, sugar, water, herbs and butter and let stand 5 min.
Add flour and salt until smooth. Cover and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour). Punch down dough and knead 25 times. Divide into 2 pans and cover. Let rise until doubled (1 hour). Heat oven to 375º. Bake loaves 30 min. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 15 min. more until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from pans immediately and brush with melted butter. Cool on a wire rack.
