1 1/2 c.All Bran cereal
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. sugar
1 t.salt
4 t.baking soda
1/2 c. molasses or dark karo syrup
1 1/2 c. dark raisins
1 qt. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Pour part of buttermilk over All- Bran to soften. Mix all ingredients. Add All-Bran and buttermilk last and mix thoroughly. Makes two large loaves. Bake at 350º for 50-60 minutes. Note: grease pans generously. This bread freezes well; can add nuts.
