1 box light brown sugar (1 lb.)
1/2 pint regular or heavy whipping cream
2 T butter
2-2 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir brown sugar and whipping cream together and microwave for 12 - 13 minutes on HIGH in a 5 qt. container. Stir after 6 minutes then return to microwave for the last 6 - 7 minutes.
Add butter, pecan halves, and vanilla. Stir.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool.

If your microwave is very powerful, you may need to reduce the cooking time by a minute.
