5 eggs, beaten
1/2 c brown sugar
2 c milk
1 T lemon juice
1 T lemon zest
1 tsp cinnamon
1 T ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and fold into 15 slices of cured whole wheat bread. Add 2 c dark pitted dried sweet cherries and 1 16 oz can crushed pineapple. Pour into greased baking dish 9 x 13. Cover with foil and bake @ 325 for 25-30 minutes.
Meanwhile:
Warm 4 sticks of butter, 6 c confectioners sugar, 1 cup whiskey, and chopped nuts. Drizzle over warm pudding.
