1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 package miniature Reece's Peanut Butter Cups or Hershey's Chocolate Stars

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat mixture until creamy. Mix in dry ingredients until well blended. Roll into balls and place in atandard muffin tins. Bake @ 350º F for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press peanut butter cups/chocolate stars in center of cookie. Allow to cool BEFORE removing from pan. Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies.

This is a favorite of my students when it comes time to make cookies for our Middle School Open House every fall. Baking the cookies in the muffin tin allows for uniformity of cookies.
