2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 can (4 oz.) crushed pineapple-DO NOT DRAIN

TOPPINGS:
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. whipping cream

There are two secrets to the success of this cake: 1. DO NOT use the mixer. 2. DO NOT grease the pan.

Mix all ingredients together with spoon and pour in 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Let it completely cool; then add toppings.

SPREAD ON COOL CAKE, SLICE AND SERVE
Tastes better after refrigerated overnight; then serve with hot coffee.
