1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, well-beaten
1 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
dash salt
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. blackberries, blueberries, or red raspberries

Streusel topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
With electric mixer, beat together butter & sugar. Add egg, beat well. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, & salt. Alt. add dry ingr. & milk until well blended. Pour into greased 8 in cake pan. Evenly distribute berries over batter. Sprinkle top with streusel. To prepare streusel: In a med. bowl, stir together sugar, flour & cinnamon. With a pastry blender cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Bake at 375º F. for 35-40 mins. Check with toothpick.
