1 c flour
1/2 c butter or margarine
1 c water
3 eggs
1/2 t almond flavoring

Directions:

Mix like pie crust; divide in half. Pat on cookie sheet in two stripes, 3 x 12".
Heat water & margarine to boiling. Take off heat, add flour, stir until smooth.
Add eggs ONE AT A TIME. Add almond flavoring.
Put half on one stripe and the rest on the other. Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 mins. Cool.
Cover with a butter icing with almond flavoring. Cut on an angle, 1-inch. To keep, cover with a towel--do not keep moist.
