3 c sugar
1/2 lb butter (2 sticks)
6 eggs at room temperature
1 c whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla
3 c all purpose sifted minus 6 tbsp flour
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour tube pan. Thoroughly cream sugar and butter. Add one egg at a time - beating well after each addition. Mix in half flour and half whipping cream, alternating until combined. Add vanilla. Put in cold oven with a 350º temperature. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing. Cool on wire rack
