3 cups All-Bran Cereal
1 cup boiling water
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted shortening
2 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over the cereal and let soak 5 minutes. Mix together eggs, milk, sugar and shortening. Mix together flour, soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix. Add soaked cereal to rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour into muffin tins and bake at 400º for 18-20 minutes.

These keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. That is why they are called 6 week bran muffins.
