Small Pkg. dates (cut up)
1 tsp. soda
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 T. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Add soda over the dates and pour boiling water over. Add sugars and butter to mixture and let cool. When cool add flour, baking powder, salt, egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in nuts. Spoon into muffin tins and bake at 325º for 30 min.
