1 cup quick Quaker Oats
1 cup sugar
3 T flour
1/4 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 stick butter
1 t vanilla
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium size bowl, mix together oats, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add butter, vanilla and egg. Mix and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Drop small amounts (1/2 t) on cookie sheets that have been lined with foil or parchment paper.
Bake for about 8 - 11 minutes in middle of the oven.
Cool and peel off foil.
