1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 small head cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 T. chili powder
1 T. garlic powder
4-6 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute beef, bacon, onion and celery in large saucepan; drain fat.

Add tomatoes, beans, tomato soup, chili powder, garlic powder, water, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat 3-5 hours, stirring frequently.

Just before serving, add cabbage and simmer 1/2 hour longer. If soup is too thick, add water according to your taste.
Serves 4-5
