Prepared packaged pizza crust mix or use the following recipe for the crust:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cup hot water
1 pkg. yeast (fast rising)
2 tsp. honey
1 Tblsp. olive oil

Toppings:
1 lb. hot pork sausage OR
1 lb. ground beef OR
Pepperoni OR
Canadian bacon OR
A combination of the above
1 can pizza sauce
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1 green pepper, quartered, seeded, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 8 oz. pkg shredded Mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese as desired

Homemade crust:
Mix 2 cups flour, yeast, salt, honey, and olive oil with hot water. Add last 1 1/2 cups flour gradually to make a firm dough. Knead 3-4 minutes, then let rest 20 minutes. Roll to fit pizza pan or cookie sheet. Press edges up on sides. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Toppings:
Crumble pork sausage or ground beef and brown. Remove with slotted spoon. In pan drippings, saute green pepper, mushrooms, and onions for about 2 minutes. Drain well. Distribute browned meat and vegetables evenly over pizza sauce. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over top. Bake at 425º F. for about 25 minutes until crust is brown and cheese is melted.
