"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Meatballs -
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp seasoned salt
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
2/3 cup finely chopped onion
Salt & pepper to taste

Sauce -

13 1/2 oz pineapple chunks and juice
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup green pepper chopped
1 jar pimento and juice
2 tbsp corn starch
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Make meatballs and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees on a cookie sheet.

Mix sauce ingredients together and simmer for 15 minutes.

To make this an even easier recipe, you can skip making homemade meatballs and use Simeks meatballs or other prepared meatballs. I make the sauce and pour it over the meatballs then cook it on low in the crock pot. We like it served over rice or used as an appetizer.
