12 oz. Fresh or frozen cranberries
8 oz. chopped dates
6 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup oats
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, melted
Glaze
2 cups powder sugar
2-3 tbsp. orange juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer cranberries, date and water for 15 min. Stir. Remove from hear, add vanilla, set aside. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda and salt. Stir in butter. Pan 1/2 into ungreased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350º for 8 min. Spoon cranberry mixture over crust. Sprinkle with remaining oat mix,pat gently. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min.Cool for 1/2 hour.

Glaze: combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over bars. You may want to reduce the amount of glaze it makes a lot.
