1 large orange
1 cup raisins
1/3 cup walnuts
2 cups flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1/3 cup walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour bottom of 13 X 9 inch pan. Squeeze orange and reserve juice. Grind together rind of orange and raisins, and 1/3 cup walnuts using course blade of food chopper. Combine flour with 1 cup sugar, soda and salt in large bowl. Add shortening and milk. Blend at lowest speed of mixer. Beat 1 1/2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 1 1/2 minutes more. Stir in orange, raisin, nut mixture. Spread batter in pan. Bake at 350º for 40-50 minutes.

Drizzle orange juice over warm cake. Combine 1/3 cup sugar with cinnamon and chopped walnuts and sprinkle over cake.
