Notes: The secret to these cookies is to stop using the mixer and switch to a wooden spoon when you start to add the dry ingredients. These are by far Jacob’s favorite cookies. He is something of a purest and prefers only raisins added to his cookies. However, if you are feeling like being an adventurist, go ahead and add any of the following: chocolate chips, bacon, chopped nuts, and dried fruit. Just kidding about the bacon.
