1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/4 c. sugar

German Chocolate Frosting:
1 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water over quick oats and butter. Set aside. Cream eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar together. Add oat mixture and bake for 35 minutes at 350º in a 9x13 greased baking dish. Top with German Chocolate Frosting.
Frosting: Cook ingredients over medium heat until thick (10-12 minutes). Remove from heat and add coconut and pecans. Blend until thick and top cake.
