1 cup chick peas
Juice of 2 lemons
1/2 cup Tahini paste
3 or 4 large garlic cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil (for moisture)
Parsley (personal amount)
'Lundburgs' Rice cakes

Directions:
Directions:
Soak chick peas overnight
Drain then add clean water (no salt)
Bring to a boil and turn to low. Cook for 1 hour.
Pour off liquid but save it.
Combine peas.. chopped garlic.. tahini and a small amount of the saved liquid.
Add olive oil to make a paste of the mixture.
Next, salt and pepper.
Spread on rice cakes.
Top with parsley.

I am gluten intolerant so I use the hummus with gluten free things. Corn chips, rice cakes or things like that.
