3/4 lb candied pineapple
1 lb white raisins
1 lb shelled pecans
4 cups flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 1/2 cups sugar

Fruit Mixture:
Mix all fruit and nuts together.
Flour Mixture:
Mix nutmeg, salt, cinnamon, flour and baking powder together and pour over fruit mixture, stir well coating all fruit.
Mix separate:Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Pour this over fruit and flour mixture and stir well. Pour ingredients into a well greased and floured angle food cake pan. Decorate top with 6 cherries and 27 large pecan halves. Bake for 2 hours @ 250. Remove cake and glaze tope with honey or white syrup. Return to oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool for 20 minutes and remove from pan.
