3 C water
small hamhock
1/4 c bacon drippings
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a 5 quart sauce pan put water, salt, hamhock, bacon drippings and bring to a boil. Cook for at least 5 minutes.

Wash mustard greens and cut up. Add to boiling water. (Water should not cover the greens completely. Greens will wilt and settle in the water base). Turn heat to mid-low and simer for about 30 minutes or until tender.

Watch, you may have to add a little water in order for the greens to cook properly.
