1 c. cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp bacon grease
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 beaten egg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Combine meal salt sugar and grease. Pour water over mixture. Add egg and beat until blended. Drop batter with a spoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for about 20 min.
