1 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
colored sugar for rolling cookies
Directions:
Directions:
In bowl cream butter and powdered sugar. Beat in egg whites and vanilla. Combine flour baking powder baking soda. Gradually add to creamed mixture.

Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Then roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork.

Bake at 350 for 12 - 14 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Cool
