Crunch Crust
2 cup flour
1 cup butter or marg.
1/4 sugar

Filling
16 oz can crushed pineapple
3 T cornstarch
1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar
1 small jar maraschino cherries - cut fine
1 tsp almond extract

Meringue
2 egg whits
1 T sugar
1/2 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
For crust: Mix all and press into a 8 x 11 " pan. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes. Coll.

Filling: cook pineapple, cornstarch and sugar until thick, Add cherries and almond extract. Coll. Spread over crust.

Meringue: Beat whites until stiff, beat in sugar. Spread over filling.

Sprinkle coconut on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350º or until toasted
