3 cups cranberries
1 1/2 cup water
2 cups mashed bananas (can be frozen)
7 cups sugar
1/2 bottle liquid pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer the cranberries in the water 10 min. Add the mashed bananas and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil hard for one minute. Remove from heat. Add the half bottle liquid pectin. Stir and skim off foam. Spoon into sterilized jars and process, hot water bath method is fine for this.

This is the jam we make with the lowbush cranberries that grow up here, but any store bought cranberries work also. I buy them at Christmas and freeze them, to wait for a more convenient time to make jam.
