2-3 lbs boneless venison
1/2 c flour
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1-2 tblsp butter
2-3 tblsp oil
3 tblsp chopped onion
brown sugar
catsup
dried basil leaves
1 tblsp butter
1/4 cup venison stock or beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Pound meat to 1/2 inch thickness. Dip steaks in flour mixture(salt and pepper). Melt butter in fry pan and brown steaks. Arrange steaks in 12X8 pan. Sprinkle with minsed onions, then 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tsp catsup. Sprinkle with basil. Dot with tblsp butter. Add stock to drippings and cook for 1 minute. Cover and bake for 45 min. Remove folil and add water if needed. Bale to;; brown on top for about 15 minutes.
