½ cup butter, melted
1 cup flour
½ cup chopped nuts

Mix and press in 9 x 13 inch ungreased pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350º degrees, let cool.

Middle Layer:
1 (9 oz. pkg.) Cool Whip (Reserve 1 cup)
1 (8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese
1 cup powered sugar

Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese, add cool whip. Spread over bottom layer. Chill.

Top Layer:
2 pkgs. Instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and pour over middle layer. Spread remainder of cool whip over all. Top with chopped nuts.
