Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 pound raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tub mixed fruit
1 tsp. cloves
1 cup walnuts
1 tsp. allspice
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 pound butter
Place the above ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 5 min. Let cool.
Sift Together:
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt

Add sifted ingredients to the cooled boiled mixture. put in a well-greased pan and bake about 2 hours or until cake tester is inserted in center and comes out dry, in a 325 degree oven.
