1 head of iceberg lettuce
1 onion
1 leek
1 kg bag of frozen green peas
1-2 tbsp butter of vegetable oil
1/2 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 L chicken stock (or beef)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large saucepan. Add finely shredded lettuce, chopped onion and leek. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Add peas and stock and cook until peas are soft and cooked - stir occasionally. Add sugar and other seasonings. Blend in blender, return to saucepan and add more stock if needed. Serve with croutons.
