6 lg. sweet onions
1/3 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup Vermouth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Swiss cheese
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut onion into about 3/8 inch slices. In skillet, cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter till tender. Sprinkle with salt, sugar and pepper. Add Vermouth and Worcestershire sauce and cook 3 minutes. Bake in a 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese, paprika, breadcrumbs and 1/3 cup butter. Bake 20 minutes.
