1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
2 c. sugar (Jeremiah 6:20)
2 T. honey (1Samuel 14:25)
6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
4 1/2 c. flour (1 Kings 4:22)
2 tsp. baking powder (Amos 4:5)
1 tsp. salt (Leviticus 2:13)
1/2 tsp nutmeg (2 Chronicles 9:9)
1/2 tsp allspice (2 Chronicles 9:9)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (2 Chronicles 9:9)
1/2 c. milk (Judges 4:19)
2 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
2 c. chopped dried figs (Nahum 3:12)
2 c. chopped almonds (Numbers 17:8)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º F. Cream butter, sugar, and honey. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. Blend into butter mixture alternately with milk. Stir in raisins, figs and almonds. Bake in greased and floured 12 cup tube pan or Bundt pan for 40-50 minutes. Use toothpick to test for doneness. When pick comes out clean, cake is done. Cool for 10 minutes and then invert on serving plate.
