1 16 oz. box Quaker Squares, Brown Sugar or Cinnamon (8 cups)
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 T. 70% vegetable oil spread (in sticks)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 250 º F. Spray 13" x 9" baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Combine cereal and pecans in pan; set aside.

2. In a large microwaveable bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, and vegetable oil spread. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute 30 seconds. Microwave again for 30 seconds or until boiling.

3. Stir vanilla and baking soda into mixture. Pour over cereal; carefully stir to coat mixture evenly.

4. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on baking sheet and cool completely; break into pieces. Store tightly covered.
