½ CUP CORNSTARCH
½ CUP POWDERED SUGAR
¾ CUP MARGARINE
1 TSP. VANILLA OR ALMOND FLAVORING

SIFT TOGETHER THE FIRST THREE INGREDIENTS.
IN MIXING BOWL, BEAT MARGARINE UNTIL CREAMY AND SMOOTH.
BEAT IN FLOUR MIXTURE AND FLAVORING UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
REFRIGERATE 1 HOUR. SHAPE INTO 1 INCH BALLS. PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE
SHEET. FLATTEN WITH FLOURED FORK OR BOTTOM OF GLASS.
BAKE IN A 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES ARE VERY LIGHTLY
BROWNED.
FROST WITH POWDERED SUGAR FROSTING FLAVORED SAME AS COOKIES.
