2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening or 1 stick margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups blueberries (floured)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate the eggs and beat the 2 egg whites till stiff. Add 1/4 cup sugar to egg whites. Cream shortening (margarine) and add salt and vanilla. Gradually add remaining sugar and the egg yolks. Sift the flour with the baking soda. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture gradually with the milk. Fold in the floured blueberries. Bake in 8 inch pan for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar.
