3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. thick sour cream
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp.cream tartar
1 tbsp. vanilla
Flour enough to make a stiff dough, enough to roll out.
Directions:
Directions:
Divide into 5 or 6 parts so as not to get to much flour when getting ready to roll out and cut with cookie cutters.

Mrs Ruby Carroll of Swoope, VA gave me this receipt Dec. 1965.
She said at that time that this receipt had been in her family for over 100 years.
