4 - 5 red or white potatoes, peeled and washed
1 small onion, chopped
3 T. margarine
1 - 2 tsp. flour
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the peeled potatoes into quarters (cut larger potatoes into smaller pieces). Place in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add the salt and bring to a slow boil over medium heat. Add the onion and continue cooking. When tender, add the margarine and thickening. For thickening - Put the flour in a small container and add a small amount of cold water stirring into a thin paste. Stir until all flour lumps are dissolved. Add to potatoes and bring back to a low boil. Boil until liquid is at desired thickness. Add black pepper and additional salt as desired.
