2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. persimmon pulp
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
dash each: cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves
1/4 c. melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs well. Add sugar and pulp. Mix well. Dissolve baling soda in buttermilk. Sift together flour, baking powder and spices. Add flour mixture to pulp mixture alternately with buttermilk and evaporated milk. Add margarine last.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 325 º for about 1 hour or until a knife inserted near the center comes our clean.
