3 1/2 c. warm water
2 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 c. peanut butter, chunky
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. basil
3 c. gluten flour
1 large onion , grated
1 bundle chive, finely chopped
2 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. seasoning salt
6 cans, empty, for steaming
1 tsp. thyme, small leaf
aluminum foil to cover cans
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients. Mix balance of ingredients into warm water. Quickly mix both liquid and dry ingredients. Add salt to taste. Place mixture into greased cans (can be empty corn or peas can) with tops of can completely removed. Cover cans properly with pieces of foil and place in pot with water halfway up side of cans. Steam for 2 hours. When cool, use knife to loosen sides of nutmeat from can and shake out. Slice and serve with gravy of your choice.

Serves 12.
