- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup currants
- 1 cup carrots, grated
- 1 cup potato, grated
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the margarine, fruit & vegetables. Add sugar and blend thoroughly.

Sioft together, flour, salt and baking soda. Add to fruit and vegetable mixture. Mix.

Put into jars. Steam for 2.5 hours in jars with lids sealed.

Serve heated with Caramel sauce.
